Meet Dr. Krueger
Dr. Keith E. Krueger is a native of Central Oregon and graduated from Oregon State University in 1985. While at Oregon State he was a varsity athlete for four years on a wrestling scholarship. He then attended Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry where he received his doctorate in 1989. Following this, Dr. Krueger completed his internship while serving three years as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. He was deployed with the Air Transportable Hospital for six months to the Persian Gulf War.
Dr. Krueger then began his four year residency, pursuing his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed his training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1997. He practiced in Portland, Oregon for over three years before establishing his practice in Bend in 2000.
Dr. Krueger was elected by the Western Society of Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons to the Board of Directors in 2012. He served on the National Anesthesia Assistant Examination Committee for the American Association of OMS from 2007-2014.
Dr. Krueger is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, which is the highest level of professional achievement. He has been on active medical staff at St. Charles Medical Center since 2000. He is on call on a monthly basis in the ER for facial trauma. He serves on Profession Practices Committee at the hospital and is frequently in the OR performing elective surgery. He also performs surgery at the Bend Surgery Center.
When he is out of the office, Dr. Krueger enjoys spending time with his wife and his three children and being active in his church. He is a Board Member for the Kilns College (theology and missions) and Healing Reins Therapeutic Riding Center. In his free time, he loves the outdoors; hunting, fishing, and running half and full marathons.
